# Formatter

Formatter helper is just a wrapper around formatter that comes with [`SonataFormatterBundle`](https://github.com/sonata-project/SonataFormatterBundle). It's usage is as simple as:

```php
<?php echo $view['formatter']->transform('markdown', '# Header

Text paragraph.') ?>
```
